* Perhaps if the Genesis author(s) had even a mild clue that light on Earth was mainly due to the planet's rotation relative to the medium sized star with which the planet revolves around (and not vice versa), there would be a less ignorant description of light being "created." This verse might have read, "then God spun the Earth like a top so we would know when to sleep and when to wake and then God flung the world around the sun in a gravity propelled orbit so that man might enjoy a change of seasons at certain latitudes.
